Chrome Female V

By Crazy Potato

One of the big issues with “Cyberpunk 2077”, even after the next-gen upgrade, is that there’s still no way to buy and equip purely cosmetic, elaborate cyberware. You see plenty of NPCs rocking intense modifications, but V’s stuck with very few options. Not so with this mod, which turns your V – provided you have a feminine body type – entirely chrome. This is the closest V can come to being Night City’s most famous cyborg, Lizzy Wizzy, who’s almost entirely synthetic. Though, the V in this mod looks a whole lot shinier than Lizzy. You can see V’s chrome arms during combat or when they drive around the city.

Johnny Wick

By bubblebones & NoraLee

Keanu Reeves has had countless, iconic roles during his career, but he’s most recently been the star of the brutal “John Wick” franchise. If you’re tired of the few in-game outfits Johnny gets to use, install this mod to transform him into “Johnny Wick”. Unfortunately, though he does look slick and familiar to fans of the movies, Johnny Wick won’t be showing up to help you in combat by performing endless, automatic headshots. He’ll still be the same washed-up punk rocker-slash-freedom fighter you know and love, and he’ll still have Johnny’s tattoos and robotic arm. There’s another overhaul mod for Johnny that’s a lot simpler: it makes him look as if he’s actually had a bath at some point in the last fifty years.

Modest Ads 2077

By Adnan4444

Night City is a thoroughly X-rated destination. This was played up during all the pre-release marketing. CDPR created a city absolutely obsessed with R-Rated material. But the non-stop, oversexualized ads you see plastered on every single surface might get on your nerves after a while. If that’s the case, then install this mod, which removes the explicit, innuendo-filled ads and makes Night City a lot more chaste. It’s funny that such a mod was ever created, especially when many “Cyberpunk” mods aim to make the game still more explicit. The ads are still there, but they’ve been edited and censored. You don’t have to be a prude to not want to be bombarded with triple-X commercials when you’re trying to play a video game, even if CDPR was trying to make a point about society.

Adam Smasher JoyToy Swap

By Bookazoid

Swapping models in any video game is a sure-fire way to make people laugh, whether it’s done on purpose with a mod or is a bizarre glitch. “Cyberpunk” is no stranger to model-swap mods, but we think this one is the funniest by a mile, swapping out the female Joytoys with Johnny’s nemesis, Adam Smasher. Now, Smasher isn’t much of a looker at the best of times and is almost entirely robotic. But maybe that’s your thing, and hey, we won’t shame you. If you want to spend a night with Smasher, then you can install this mod and experience the unusual scene. He’ll also still have the joytoy’s voice lines and there’s some very awkward clipping through his armor.

V Pregnancy

By The_White_Kanye

Another mod for the gamers with very particular tastes, this one will do exactly what it says: it makes V look pregnant. Luckily, she’ll still be able to use all of her abilities and her movement speed won’t be affected, though you might struggle to find clothes that fit with the new texture. The mod author has included some clothes that will work with the body mesh and explained in the description that they’re not the ones who made it. In fact, it’s the same body texture you’ll see pregnant NPCs wearing, only you can equip it on V in place of a clothing slot instead.

God Mode

By Jb

Every game needs a god mode mod, and “Cyberpunk 2077” is no exception. That doesn’t make it any less fun though, even if you’ve played dozens of other games with god mode added in. In “Cyberpunk”, you’ll have unlimited health, stamina, and carrying capacity, as well as the ability to get constant critical hits. You also won’t get knocked down if a car hits you and you’re immune to status ailments. It makes you a complete tank, more than capable of taking down Adam Smasher and Arasaka. You’re still going to have your mind slowly eroded by Johnny’s engram no matter how much HP you have, but at least you’ll have fun until the worst happens.

DOOM Reshade

By fionncroke

There’s no two ways about it: if you install this mod, you’re going to make the game virtually unplayable. Yes, even more unplayable than it already is on some consoles. But it’s still an awesome mod. It’ll make your entire game pixelated so that it looks and feels like classic “DOOM”, at the expense of making the heads-up display and every single icon blurry and completely illegible. It’s got a hidden benefit, however: it strips down the game so much that you can eke a little more performance out of your PC if you were struggling to run it before. Plus, you can always turn off those HUD elements in the menu and have a pixelated but immersive ride through Night City.

Thomas the Tank Engine

By Crazy Potato

His meme potential is endless, and every game inevitably gets a Thomas mod – or a few – when it arrives on PC. This one will swap out the Rayfield Caliburn, the fastest car in the game and one you can get for free by jumping through some hoops, with a shiny model of Thomas the Tank Engine himself. He’s frightening, fast, and potentially deadly. Even weirder is what happens if you switch to first-person mode while driving. The camera will clip wildly through the new texture, sometimes obscuring the entire screen and sometimes leaving Thomas totally transparent. You can also see V clipping through the wheels at the bottom.

Borderlandfy2077

By Salmo

Another massive reshade, this one overhauls the entire game so that it has the same unique, cel-shaded style of the “Borderlands” series. Unlike the “DOOM” mod that might help performance, this will definitely put a bigger strain on your PC than not using it will. But if you’ve got a rig that can handle the extra load, why not play around with this crazy mod? And when you’re out in the Badlands using those futuristic weapons, how different ARE “Cyberpunk 2077” and “Borderlands”, really? The big downside, however, is that the mod also cel-shades all the text, so you’re going to struggle to read the menus and subtitles.

CyberMod

By RedRock Studio

One of the biggest mods the game has to date, “CyberMod” is a work-in-progress as of early 2022 and is still being worked on diligently by RedRock Studio. Its coolest feature is the flying cars, the likes of which are sometimes seen in-game but can’t be used by V outside of the Corpo prologue. Though it’s still a little janky, you can pilot these flying cars wherever you want to go. It also adds a working metro system, something cut from the finished game, and some multiplayer functionality. Even more impressive is the fact the mod provides tools to other modders to use RedRock’s framework and put their own elaborate creations together.
